My interest in the Cognitive Repair Kit project stems from my desire to apply basic knowledge about neuroscience and cognition to real-world issues like rehabilitation and recovery of function after stroke. The development of the Cognitive Repair Kit will benefit from our fundamental knowledge about perceptual-motor performance and skill acquisition, but will also help us better understand the limits of this knowledge when applied to situations with specific goals and practical considerations.
