Lucas Tennen’s NSH Rehab Research Day Award

Congratulations to Lucas Tennen, Eskes Lab Research Assistant, for winning the Best Trainee Presentation Award at this year’s Nova Scotia Health Rehab Research Day!

Lucas presented the ongoing trial assessing the feasibility of SpyTrain, an innovative online game designed to address common post-stroke attentional challenges.

Reflecting on the achievement, Lucas shared:
“I’m really thrilled about this. I know I’m not the first Eskes Lab RA to win this award, and I’m sure I won’t be the last. It’s a testament to the innovative and thorough approach of the team. I was fortunate to share this work with the research community and to be recognized for it, but the credit truly belongs to the quality of the lab that Dr. Eskes has built.”

Great work, Lucas—keep it up!
