Happy Holidays from the Cognitive Health & Recovery Lab!
We’d like to share some good news this holiday season. John Vipond, a member of our advisory board, was recently featured on CTV alongside Dr. Michael Hill, Director of the Stroke Unit for the Calgary Stroke Program. They spoke about a recent event where stroke survivors had the opportunity to personally thank Dr. Hill for his research innovations, which have saved countless lives.
John attended the event and has long been a vocal supporter of the medical innovations, rehabilitation centres, research programs, and therapists that have helped him regain his life after stroke. This holiday season, he is giving back by organizing a fundraiser in support of the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation. John is offering snow plowing services in Whitby, ON, in exchange for a donation.
